The focal point of the village is the renovated church "Iglesia de la Virgin de la Luz" with the beautiful church square surrounded by old laurel trees. A place to linger and to reflect on the original

To observe the life of the Canarios. The municipal administration of "Tenerife Guia de Isora" and the police are housed in the old town houses in the church square and next to it there is a very busy bar. Everyone who has to do in the community first goes to the bar to get news. The center can hardly be reached by car. It goes through stale alleys in which you have to fear that you won't be able to get any further in the end. The lower main street of "Tenerife Guia de Isora" is for through traffic and there are many

Parking, restaurants, shops and bars.

The seaside towns are Playa San Juan, Fonsalía and Alcalá.

"Tenerife Guia de Isora" beach of Playa San Juan"

Playa San Juan has changed very positively in recent years from a small fishing village to a lively place with a good mix of local people and tourists.

Therefore, it is very popular with tourists who do not want to be in mass tourism. It is similar in Alacalá. The place is not yet very touristy and is characterized by its good fish restaurants. There is also the 5 star hotel "Gran Meliá Palcio Isora". One of the 10 best hotels in Europe.

Between the two places lies the now insignificant place Fonslia. A large port for ferries to the western islands, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro is planned there. Part of the port is planned as a marina. This will change the place a lot and is an upgrade of the whole area. The access road from the TF1 highway has already been built. Only a few kilometers further is the place "Playa de la Arena" with the black beach.

From Playa San Juan you come to Agua Dulce. Even the translation of the name into German "sweet water" indicates that drinking water was available here. In the small town of the same name, flowers have been grown for the European market for 40 years.

The growing area in the south-west of Tenerife for bananas and tomatoes.

From Agua Dulce a road leads up into the mountains to the town of Piedra de Hincada. This is a town surrounded by banana plantations and not far from the large golf course of the 5 star Ritz Carlton Abama Hotel. Between the coastline and the TF1 highway is the agricultural area of "Tenerife Guia de Isora" and there are, mostly under plastic

Plans, bananas and tomatoes grown.

Above "Tenerife Guia de Isora" there are some small towns like Chirche, Aripe and El

Jaral. Time has stood still here and these charming little villages have retained their originality. Here many old but restored houses are offered for rural tourism.

In short, a community with potential.
